Maria and her husband founded Highgrove in 2012 and it quickly became a successful competition stable with a thriving Hanoverian breeding program and over 30 horses. 
After the couple split in 2018, Maria was forced to sell the majority of her horses and the property itself after she tried to keep the stud running in vain.
After moving into a much smaller stable with few horses remaining, she started fresh with Highgrove. 
 

Today it is a private stable with only a handful of horses and a small team located in Austria, surrounded by lush green meadows and snow-capped mountains standing proud against the sky. The Hanoverian breeding program is almost forgotten history the stud is now home to a variety of horses and two miniature mules.
